Dean Kelsoe Carnes

CARNES, Mrs. Dean Kelsoe, 91, a resident of Brantley, Alabama, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2017. Funeral services for Mrs. Carnes will be held at 11 AM on Monday, November 27, from the Chapel of Turners Funeral Home with Rev. Travis Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Ida Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Carnes was preceded in death by her husband, Pascal Byron Carnes, great-granddaughter, Peyton Elizabeth Cox, parents, Ralph E. and Vickie Campbell Kelsoe, and two brothers, Clemon Kelsoe and Johnny Ray Kelsoe. She is survived by her two loving daughters, Janet Cox and Phyllis Carnes (Valenda Phillips), grandson, Paul (Sandie) Cox, and great-granddaughter, Sydney Olivia Cox. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to either the Mt. Ida Cemetery Fund, c/o Brantley Bank and Trust, P.O. Box 25, Brantley, AL 36009 or the Cameron Chapel Cemetery Fund c/o Sue Maush, 125 Barrow Rd., Brantley, AL 36009. They will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 10 – 11 AM.
