Deborah Griffin Morgan

Mrs. Deborah Griffin Morgan, 58, a resident of Brantley, Alabama, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 8, 2019. Funeral services for Mrs. Morgan will be held at 2 PM on Monday, November 11, at Word of Faith Church with Rev. Keith Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in Brantley Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mrs. Morgan spent much of her life both owning and operating a florist, where she loved creating beautiful floral arrangements. She was made for the business with her bubbly and outgoing personality. She had a true Christian love for everyone, and never met a stranger. She will be dearly remembered for the fierce, protective love she had for her husband, sons, grandchildren, and the rest of her family.

Mrs. Morgan was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Larry Phillip Morgan; father, Lebron Griffin; mother, Yvonne Bartlett Legg; and her parents-in-law, Doris and John Hooks. She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Drew and Chassidy Morgan and Blake and Kristen Morgan; three grandchildren, Brent Morgan, Cobey Morgan, and Raylan Morgan; father, Jackie Legg; two brothers, Phillip Griffin and Jeff (Tina) Legg; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

Active pallbearers will be Brent Morgan, Cobey Morgan, Phillip Griffin, Jeff Legg, Tyler Griffin, Clay Legg, and Eric Morgan. Honorary pallbearers will be Landon Morgan, Anthony Morgan, Lance Morgan, Hagan Morgan, Jonas Morgan, Cory Morgan, and Austin Morgan.

Family and friends will meet at the church at the service time.
