Doris Jean Schofield

Doris Jean Walker Schofield, 93, a resident of Dothan, Alabama and formerly of Luverne, went to her Heavenly home on Wednesday, August 27th, 2025. There will be a graveside service for the family of Doris at 10 AM on Saturday, August 30th, in Luverne Emmaus Cemetery with her son-in-law, Rev. Tim Willis, delivering her eulogy and Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing.
Doris loved her family and lived a Godly Christian life, and she enjoyed worshipping at Webb Baptist Church in Webb, Alabama until her health made it too difficult for her to attend. Her heart's prayer was for each family member to be part of God's wonderful family.

Doris was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wilburn Schofield, and parents, A.D. & Ilma Roberson Walker. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Wanda & Tim Willis; grandchildren, Jennifer (Michael) Warren and Will (Anna) Willis; great-grandchildren, Clara Marie (Aaron) Johnson, David Warren, Aubrey Willis, and Reese Willis; sisters, Lodell Talley, Mildred Martin, and Mary (Bobby) Morgan; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
