BOWEN, Mrs. Dorothy Elizabeth Ryals, 87, a resident of Lapine died Sunday July 10, 2011. Graveside services will be 2 pm Wednesday July 13, 2011 at Panola Cemetery with Rev. Parker Bowen officiating and Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Bowen is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Bowen; a sister, Arree Russell; a brother, Guy Ryals; and her parents, Orenthus & Annie Lou Ryals. Survivors include two sons, Eric (Kitt) Bowen and Stan (Joy) Bowen; four grandchildren, Judson (Angie) Bowen, Amanda (Taylor) Owens, Chad Bowen and Allison Bowen; and three great grandchildren. Active pallbearers will be Hamp Russell, Irvin Russell, Hampton Russell, Brad Russell, Chad Bowen, and Judson Bowen. Family and friends will meet at the gravesite on Wednesday at the service hour.
