BUTTS, William “Doug”, 69, a resident of Luverne died Wednesday November 5, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 2PM on Friday, November 7, 2014 at Turner Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Luverne Emmaus Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Butts is preceded in death by his father, Seth Butts. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Betty S. Butts; two children, Tommy(Laura) Butts and Jane(Jason) Owens; five grandchildren, Breanna Mayhall, Jase Owens, Ashton Mayhall, Jaelyn Owens and Josie Owens; his mother, Hazel W. Butts; and brother, Malcolm(Kathleen) Butts. Active pallbearers will be Ken Messick, Dale Lawrence, Jason McManigle, David Parrot, Ray Butts, Justin Sexton, Jon Walker Arthur, David Messick, and Ashton Mayhall. Honorary pallbearers will by members of the Luverne Volunteer Fire Department. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday 12 – 2PM.
