FREE, Mr. Douglas B., 72, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016. A memorial service will be held for him at 11 AM on Saturday, December 3, from the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Travis Johnson officiating. Mr. Free was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Peyton Elizabeth Cox and his parents, Roy B. Free and Willie Bell Mills. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Nan G. Free, daughter, Sandra (Paul) Cox, granddaughter, Sydney Olivia Cox, and aunt, Ella Kate Moses. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 – 11 AM.
