Dustin Rhey Crawford, 63, a resident of Honoraville, Alabama, passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, April 14th, 2025. A celebration of Dustin's life will be held at a later time.
Dustin believed in the value of hard work throughout his life and instilled that same standard in his children and grandchildren. Strength was the name of the game when it came to Dustin as well, not only was he strong from years of hard work but it could also be found in both his strength of will and opinion. However, he was also a generous man at heart and opened his home and heart to both his children and foster children. There was nothing more important to him than family and he often reminded them that "family is all you got." He had a phenomenal sense of humor as well as the gift of always finding the right words to mend a broken heart. And Dustin always knew how to bring the fun to any event whether it was through music or laughter. On Saturdays in the fall, he reigned over a divided house of allegiances to both the University of Alabama and The Ohio State University. Above all, he was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who will be sorely missed by all those who knew and loved him so well.
Dustin was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Serinity White; father, Claude H. Crawford; brother, Robert Townsend; and many aunts and uncles. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Crawford; children, Venishia (Ryan) Carney, Shylo (Frank) White, Jonson Crawford, Keegan Crawford, Olivia Crawford, and Gracyn Crawford; grandchildren, Hailyn Crawford, Carsyn Crawford, Kobryn Crawford, Browyn White, Jaxsyn Crawford, Rheyla White, Roselynn White, Dustyn Crawford, and Biesyn Crawford; mother, Ann Barrett Boyd; siblings, Mary (Bob) Box, John Crawford, and Margaret L. Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
