THOMPSON, Mr. Edmund A., 81, a resident of Deatsville, Alabama, passed away on March 13, 2016. A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, March 19, 2016 in Union Cemetery with Rev. Eddie Pate officiating and Turner Funeral Home directing. Mr. Thompson was preceded in death by his parents, A.D. and Versie Massey Thompson. He is survived by four children, eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Millbrook First Assembly of God Building Fund, 3511 Shirley Lane, Millbrook, Alabama 36054. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 9:30 – 10:30am at the funeral home.
