Edna Walton Stephenson

STEPHENSON, Mrs. Edna Walton, age 75, a resident of Honoraville, Alabama died Tuesday, March 6, 2013. A graveside funeral service will be held Friday, March 8, 2013 at 2 PM in Mt. Zion Methodist Church Cemetery (The Lodge) with Rev. Mike Moses officiating and Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Stephenson will be remembered by friends and family as a sweet, Christian lady who always spoke her mind, and was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her son, Edward J. Stephenson, her parents, Raymond and Allean Pouncey Walton, one brother, and four sisters. Mrs. Stephenson is survived by her husband of 46 years, James Edward Stephenson; three children, Rebecca Lynn Stephenson, Jeanette L. Shriver, and Michael Anthony Stephenson; two grandchildren, Justin R. Pezza and Morgan L. Shriver; one great grandson, Adyn Hollowell; and her sister, Ola Mae McGough. Active pallbearers will be Justin Pezza, Robbie Shriver, Michael Stephenson, Rodney McCartha, Anthony Pezza, and Josh McCartha. The family will receive friends at Turner Funeral Home Friday afternoon from 12:30 – 1:30 pm after which they will follow in procession to the gravesite.
