Edward Wayne Billings, Sr.

BILLINGS, Edward Wayne, Sr., age 62, a resident of Highland Home, Alabama died Thursday, January 30, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday, February 3, 2014 from Turner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William Leverette officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Billings is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth A. Billings, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Anita White Billings; four children, Edward W. Billings, Jr., Lisa (Andy) Smith, Samantha (John) Hoffman, and Kayla (Robert) Fulton; nine grandchildren; his mother, Ella Wisor Billings; and two brothers, Nathan (Barbara) Billings and Ken (Sue) Billings. Active pallbearers will be Chuck Gorey, Jerry Pritchett, Edward Williams, Paul Casteel, Joey Dickey, and Jason Blue. Members of the Luverne Police Department will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends Sunday evening at the funeral home from 5-7 pm.
