Edward Wayne Boutwell

Edward Wayne Boutwell, 87, a resident of Ft. Deposit, Alabama, passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025. At his request, there will be no public services.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Comer Grady & Dottie Zell Peavy Boutwell, and siblings, Grady Boutwell, LeRoy (Shirley) Boutwell, and Gladys (Henry Neal) Cassady. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Kathy Ryals Boutwell; stepson, Dr. David L. Boyd of Durham, North Carolina; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to either the Panola Cemetery Fund, c/o Debbie McGough, 2237 Cook Road, Honoraville, Alabama 36042, or Bethel Baptist Church, P.O. Box 261, Ft. Deposit, Alabama 36032.
