Mr. Edward C Izzo ,68, a resident of Brantley, Alabama , passed away at Crenshaw Community Hospital on Wednesday, October 7th, 2026. A celebration for Mr Izzo will be scheduled at a later time.
Mr Edward was a proud Army Veteran, and always carried the values of loyalty, courage, and honor throughout every aspect of his life. He was a man of his word-someone you could count on, no matter the circumstances. His word was his life, and his loyalty ran deep.
Mr Edward had a lifelong passion for motorcycles. To him, riding was more than a mere hobby; it was freedom, adventure, and a way of life. To simply enjoy the open road was his every day desire. But Mr Edward will be remembered for far more than his love for bikes. He was a devoted Dad, loyal friend, and a mentor to many. He had a way of making people feel seen, valued, and accepted. His kind heart, steady presence, and willingness to help others left an impression on countless lives.
He was a kind man people could turn to for advise, encouragement, or simply an ear. Many called him a friend, but to those fortunate enough to truly know him, he was family. He was unforgettable, not because he could be loud, but because of the way he lived. He loved deeply, stood firmly by the people he cared about, and left every life he touched a little better for having known him.
Though he is no longer with us, his memory will live on in the stories shared, the lessons taught, the people he mentored, and every mile traveled on that bike in the open road.
Ride free, Dad. Your journey here may be over, but the mark you left on our hearts will never fade.
Mr Edward Carroll Izzo was preceded in death by: his parents Pasquale Jr. and Helen Izzo, sisters Rita George and Patricia Gaumond, special friends Teddy Haas, Larry Lathers and Paulie D.
He is survived by: son Anthony Izzo, son Joseph Izzo, daughter Nichola Izzo. Brother Albert Izzo and sister Joann Fermino. Friends Ronnie Williamson and Travis Phelps, numerous grandchildren and so many people who called him friend.
The family would like to personally thank Edward's special friend Lisa Riviello for all of the love shown to him. Sometimes words are hard to find, but thank you from our hearts is truly meant.
