Edwin Earl Cosby

COSBY, Mr. Edwin Earl, 78, a resident of Rutledge, Alabama, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Friday, June 17, from the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Zimmer and Rev. Neal Kelley officiating. Interment will follow in Rutledge Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Cosby is preceded in death by his son, Chris Anthony Cosby, his parents, Charlie D. and Maebelle Bradley Cosby, and his sister, Melba Jeffcoat. Survivors include his wife, Judith Ballard Cosby, one son and daughter-in-law, Brent and Emma Cosby, and five grandchildren, Christopher Cosby, Cadyn Cosby, Caylor Cosby, Hank Peeples, and Justin Peeples. Active pallbearers will be Christopher Cosby, Cadyn Cosby, Caylor Cosby, Keith Stephens, Terry Stephens, and Scott Edwards. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, June 16, from 6 - 8pm.
