Effie Mae Hall Williamson

WILLIAMSON, Effie Mae Hall, 90, a resident of Elba, AL died Thursday, May 10, 2012. Funeral services to be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 2 PM from Turner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rocky Pearce and Rev. Stephen Dubose officiating. Interment will follow in Old Union Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Williamson is preceded in death by her husband, Kendrick W. Williamson, and her daughter Betty Lou Sasser. She is survived by five children, Marie (Buddy) Dubose, Ruby Cowart, Rickie (Debbie) Williamson, Barbara Compton, and Debbie (Rocky) Pearce; nineteen grandchildren and seventy great grandchildren. Active pallbearers include Hayward Dubose, Dwayne Dubose, Michael Dubose, Travis Gay, Jason Pearce, and John Pearce. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 1 pm until service time.
