Eleanor Sarah Johnson

JOHNSON, Mrs. Eleanor Sarah Johnson, age 74, a resident of Brantley, Alabama, died Friday, December 21, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at Turner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clay Crum and Rev. Lamar Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in Springhill Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Johnson is preceded in death by her parents Andrew “Jack” and Margaret Johnson; two sisters, Mary Grace Sorrells and Dorothy Allen; and four brothers, Glenn Johnson, H.J. Johnson, Robert Johnson, and George Johnson. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, J. B. Johnson, her brother Pete Johnson, and a number of loving nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers include John Johnson, Zane Johnson, Derek Williamson, Chad Williamson, Trent Williamson, and Seth Wilkerson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 5-7 pm.
