Emmett Terry Best

BEST, Mr. Emmett Terry, 64, a resident of Montgomery died Sunday March 25, 2012. Graveside services will be 2 pm Friday March 30, 2012 in Sardis Cemetery with Elders Greg Sexton and Jerry Register officiating and Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Best is preceded in death by his father, Dempsey Best. Survivors include two children, Emmett Terry “Sonny” Best, II and Traci Dawn Best Christian; three grandchildren, Matthew Alan Christian, Kindall Laine Best and Sonny Blaine Best; mother, Lela White Best; and a brother, Ronnie Best. Active pallbearers will be Emmett T. Best, II, Ronnie Best, Edward Russell, Windell Sexton, Stan Sexton and Ronnie Davis, II. Grandsons, Matthew Christian and Blaine Best ,will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 12:30pm until 1:30pm.
