Emmett Carlon Kelley

KELLEY, Mr. Emmett Carlon, 71, a resident of Highland Home died Monday, May 11, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. William Leverette officiating. Interment will follow in Sardis Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Kelley is preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Wilsie Beasley Kelley. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Mildred Kelley; five children, Randall Kelley, Brenda Kelley, Michael Kelley, Ashley (Scott) McGowan,and Zachary Kelley; four grandchildren, Brandon (Laura) Lamberth, Tatum McGowan, Sadie McGowan, and Presley McGowan; one great grandson, Declan Lamberth; four sisters, Kathryn (Cecil) Sexton, Judy (Phil) Payne, Joyce (Walter) Lange, and Janice (Junior) Hammett; one brother, James (Christine Ammons) Kelley. Active pallbearers will be Gerald Kelley, Stacey Kelley, Kenny Wayne Frazier, Jason Hurley, Brian Register, Elvis McSheridan, and Jessie Sanders. Co-workers from CSX Transportation will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday morning from 9:30 am until service time.
