Ernie Eugene Beasley

Ernie Eugene Beasley, 61, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away peacefully at Luverne Health & Rehabilitation on Monday, February 17th, 2025. A celebration of Ernie's life will be held at a later time.

Ernie was about as humble and trustworthy a person as you could find. Those who knew him always knew they could depend on his hard-working and forgiving nature whenever they needed him. Ernie also had a remarkable gift to be able to repair anything needed work, whether it was a car or something around the house because he was a phenomenal mechanic and carpenter. Truly, he was always looking for a way to keep him in the great outdoors, whether it was working in his yard, hunting, or fishing. Ernie was also a lifetime supporter of both Luverne High School and the Alabama Crimson Tide. Above all, he was a devoted father and "Paw Paw" to his beloved grandchildren. While he loved just about everyone, his family was always the people he held closest to his heart over the years. Ernie will be sorely missed by all those who knew and loved him so very well, but they will find comfort in the cherished memories they made together over the years.

Ernie was preceded in death by his son, Troy Beasley, and parents, Sidney Jr & Claudia Hardy Beasley. He is survived by his children, Trent Beasley and Jennifer Strickland; grandchildren, Rhett Alex Beasley, Ivory Kate Beasley, and Ben Strickland; siblings, Eddie (Linda) Burt, Shelia (Mitch) Davis, Eland Beasley, and Elbert Beasley; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Ernie's friends and co-workers at Stephens Garage for all they have done for him over the years.
