HAYES, Mr. Everett D. “ Gabby”, 69, a resident of Luverne died Tuesday June 29, 2010. Funeral services will be 11 am Friday July 2, 2010 at Pleasant Home Baptist Church with Rev. Mickey R. Skipper officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Hayes is preceded in death by a son, Travis M. Hayes; his parents, George and Rubell Hayes; and a sister, Mary Estelle Smith. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Connie Reeves Hayes; three children, Gary (Daphne) Hayes, Tabitha S. Hayes and Sherry D. Hayes; four grandchildren, Brandon Scott Hayes, Brandon Tyler Hayes, Baylie L. Hayes and Breely S. Hayes; one sister, Robin Hayes Jenkins. Active pallbearers will be Scott Hayes, Tyler Hayes, Hubert Wilcox, Barry Reeves, James Boswell, Eddie Boswell, Timmy Boswell and Christopher Reeves. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6 pm until 8 pm.
