Fay Jones Harbin

HARBIN, Mrs. Fay, 98, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2017. A memorial service for Mrs. Harbin will be held at 2 PM on Friday, December 22, at the Luverne United Methodist Church with Dr. Bob Yawn officiating and Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Harbin was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Ira Thompson Harbin, and parents, Mal Richardson and Lillian Gipson Jones. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Harbin (Rick) Dunphy, and granddaughter, Catherine Suzanne Dunphy (Will Moore). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the Luverne Emmaus Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 701, Luverne, Alabama 36049 or Macular Degeneration Research, 22512 Gateway Center Drive, P.O. Box 1952, Clarksburg, Maryland 20871. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 1 – 2pm.
