Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 12:30 to 2 PM.
Faye was always a bit of a social butterfly. There were few people around Luverne who didn't know her, primarily through all of her years supporting Luverne High School and all of the games and activities her girls and grandchildren participated in. And you better believe, if Miss Faye was around, she was gonna be talking to whomever was nearby. It didn't matter if it was at a ballgame, the grocery store, or going through physical therapy, she was always going to be the sweetest and friendliest person there! Lord knows she really had only two speeds in life, high and off, but she was capable of enjoying more quiet activities like crossword puzzles and sewing. Faye also enjoyed singing with the choir at church for many years.
While she spent her professional career working in Montgomery for the Retirement Systems of Alabama, there was absolutely nothing she loved more than being a devoted wife, mother, and "Nannie" to all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They were all the pride and joy of her life and she loved spending time with them more than anything else in the world. It takes a special woman to raise a house full of girls without losing your sanity, but she thrived off of it and did a heck of a job with it! She especially loved supporting them at all of the ballgames during their years as cheerleaders. Those years earned her a beloved place in the hearts of all those who spent time with her, and her warmth and love will continue to be a lasting legacy for many more years to come.
Faye was preceded in death by her parents, James Carroll & Ruby Parrish Bozeman, and her grandmother, Lena Mae Parrish. She is survived by her loving husband of almost 53 years, Billy Joe Hall; their cherished daughters, Stephanie Hall (Brent Mitchell), Suzanne (Jody) Shirley, and Shelly (Billy Wayne) Nelson; grandchildren, Blake (Hannah) Holley, Kaleigh Holley (Baker) Bozeman, Shelby (Cage) Freeman, Cole (Kerry) Moseley, Slade Renfroe, Zack Nelson, Braden Shirley, and Tori Kate Nelson; and great-grandchildren, Kiley Jordan, Kaley Jordan, Kortlyn Blake Holley, Kessy-Brooke Holley, Bric Holley, Hudson Moseley, and Tate Freeman will soon make his arrival.
Active pallbearers will be Blake Holley, Baker Bozeman, Cage Freeman, Slade Renfroe, Braden Shirley, Cole Moseley, and Zack Nelson.
