JOHNSON, Mrs. Faye Crowe, 72, a resident of Brantley, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2018. A graveside service for Mrs. Johnson will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, May 10, in Brunson Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Wesley Spivey officiating and Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents, James M. “Jack” and Mary Alice Henderson Crowe; sister, Ethel Smith; and three brothers, Barney Paul Crowe, Marion “Bordy” Crowe, and Clarence Crowe. She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Gerald “Cowboy” Johnson; two sons, Kip (Teresa) Smith and John (Joan) Johnson; five grandchildren, Alecia Smith (Chris) Jones, Christopher Smith (Lindsey McVay), Rachael Smith (Jeremy) Moseley, Mallorie (Jason) Chandler, and Zane Johnson; ten great-grandchildren, Maddie Smith, J.J. Jones, Lillian Grace Sowell, Sarabeth Moseley, Hadleigh Smith, Harleigh Smith, Cole Moseley, Caleb Chandler, Marlee Chandler, and Cayden Chandler; sister, Carolyn (Donnie) Wilkerson; and three brothers, J.M. Crowe, James Walter (Monagail) Crowe, and Roy (Sharon) Crowe. Active pallbearers will be Christopher Smith, Chris Jones, Kevin Crowe, Andrew Crowe, Zane Johnson, Garvin Ayers, and Karl Eiland. The family will receive friends at Brunson Chapel United Methodist Church from 1 - 2pm.
