Foy Earnest Dubose

Mr. Foy E. "Buddy" Dubose, 83, a resident of Brantley, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2019. Funeral services for Mr. Dubose will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, July 14, from the Chapel of Turners Funeral Home with Pastor Stephen Dubose and Pastor Thomas Mayberry officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mr. Dubose was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Savannah Sanders Dubose; parents, Albert and Dollie Sorrells Dubose; and sister, Cassie Jo Tidwell. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Marie Williamson Dubose; five sons, Hayward (Janice) Dubose, Stephen (Katie) Dubose, Kenneth (Aimee) Dubose, Dewayne (Cathy) Dubose, and Michael (Shannon) Dubose; thirteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and his sister, Margaret Holmes.

Active pallbearers will be Hayward Dubose, Stephen Dubose, Kenneth Dubose, Dewayne Dubose, Michael Dubose, and Kenny Dubose Jr. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, July 13, from 5 - 7pm.
