Frances Jane Baggett

Mrs. Frances Jane Baggett, 89, a resident of Meridian, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 20, 2019. Funeral services for Mrs. Baggett will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, May 23, from the Chapel of Turners Funeral Home with Brother Charles Sipper officiating. Interment will follow in Rock Hill Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mrs. Baggett was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved to fill her gardens with flowers just to watch them grow. She also enjoyed spending her time sewing and crafting. Mrs. Baggett also dedicated many years to teaching Bible school classes at her church. She will be sorely missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Mrs. Baggett was preceded in death by two husbands, Carl Bryan and Harold Baggett; her parents, Robert and Sally Martin Knighten; and ten siblings, Margaret, Addie Mae, Hazel, Raymond, Joe, John, Tommy, James, Shelton, and Junior. She is survived by her two children, Michael Bryan and Carlon Jenkins; two grandchildren, Joseph (Marcy) Jenkins and Amanda De Rocher; five great-grandchildren, Chance, Ella, Melina, Nathan, and Jonathan; and three siblings, Bobbie N. Navone, Sara “Sally” Estes, and Jimmy Knighten.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 10 - 11 AM.
