Frances Compton Ping

PING, Mrs. Frances Compton, 77, a resident of Luverne, AL died Tuesday, August 27, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 10AM on Friday, August 30, 2013 from Turner Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dale Norris officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Home Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Ping is preceded is death by her daughter, Brenda Adams; parents, Agnue and Lucille Compton; and two sisters. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Gerald Ping; one son, Dale(Debbie) Mills; two grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews; and special friend, Pat Tidwell. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6 to 8pm.
