Mrs. Frances West Williams, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away unexpectedly in her home on Tuesday, August 23rd, 2022. Funeral services for Mrs. Williams will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, August 27th, from the Chapel of Turners Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Goshen with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service.

A car accident in her youth left Mrs. Williams struggling with significant chronic pain for the remainder of her life, however she continue to live her life as fully as possible from raising her family and working for many years. Despite her battles, she continued to place her trust and faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and found her comfort through prayers. The granddaughter of a Baptist minister, Mrs. Williams' faith was always a tremendous comfort for her, and she nurtured it through her devotions and study with his Word. She nurtured that same faith in her daughter and grandchildren as her bedtime stories were usually Biblical in nature. She also loved old hymnal music and often watched the sermons of people like Joel Osteen and David Jeremiah. She was a longtime member of Goshen Baptist Church and truly loved her church family there. Mrs. Williams also loved her old country music, especially from artists like Hank Williams Sr. Above all, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family as more priceless than any other earthly treasure. She was a rock for all of them and will be sorely missed by them all, but they will find their own comfort in the knowledge that she is no longer suffering but celebrating on those "streets of gold."

Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her daughter, Vicky Williams; granddaughter, Tiffany Moman; parents, Ralph & Evelyn Sanders West; and sister, Sue Bass. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Gerald "Buddy" Williams; their daughter & son-in-law, Connie & Ken Moman; grandchildren, Kelly (Brett) Augsburger and Candi (Adam) Vann; great-grandchildren, Aidan & Avery Augsburger and Lucy Vann; nephew, Tony (Sal Lee) Williams; great-nieces, MyLee & MalLee Williams; and great-nephews, Chase & Blake Williams.

Active pallbearers will be Tony Williams, Chase Williams, Blake Williams, Aidan Augsburger, Adam Vann, and Keith Mills.
