Fred David Buce, Jr

Buce, Fred David, Jr., a special baby boy was born October 12, 1925 to Fred and Corrie Taylor Buce. A resident of Luverne Nursing Facility, he went home to be with our Lord, Tuesday, May 18, 2010. Fred was the grandson of Albert Joseph Taylor and Addie Elizabeth Sasser Taylor. He was loved by family and friends and had the special gift of remembering by name everyone he met. Fred was preceded in death by his parents and brother, William Joseph “Bill” Buce. Survivors include a niece, Letha Buce Hughes, Missouri; nephews, Joey Buce, Arkansas and William “Billy” Buce, Opelika, AL.; cousins, Carolyn Taylor, Marietta, Ga., Dr. Kline Johnson, Montgomery, Joseph “Butch” Taylor, Prattville, Al., and Kay Johnson, Brantley, Al. Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 20, 2010 at 10:30 AM at Sasser Cemetery, Brantley, Al with Jeff Grimes officiating. The family request in lieu of flowers, memorials to Sasser Cemetery Fund or Vivian B. Adams School of Ozark, AL.
