ALLEN, Mr. Frederick Raymond, 82, a resident of Highland Home, AL died Saturday, July 19, 2014. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 11 AM from Turner Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Jack Cates officiating. Interment will follow in Sardis Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Allen is preceded in death by his daughter, Debra Godwin Kizziah. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Elna Ruth Allen; two children, Linda Allen and Donald (Jenny) Wright; three grandchildren, Jamie Ruth Boyd, Jared Ross Boyd, and WesLee Blake Massey; his sister, Helen Lamarche; and sister-in-law, Phyllis Carmichael. Active pallbearers will be Jared Boyd, Blake Massey, Glen Bowen, Carlton Carmichael, Jerry Beach, and Chad Horne. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday morning from 9:30 am until service time.
