HALL, Mr. George Willard, 81, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2017. Funeral services for Mr. Hall will be held at 2 PM on Monday, March 20, from the Chapel of Turners Funeral Home with Rev. Clay Crum and Rev. Hilary Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Ida Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Hall retired from the Alabama Department of Transportation where he worked as an engineering assistant and spent numerous years as a poultry farmer. He lived a good life as a wonderful husband and a loving father and grandfather. Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his parents, George C. and Willie Pearl Jayroe Hall. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Nell Brown Hall, four children, Kathy H. (Bill) Bradshaw, Timmy Hall, Bill (Kimberly) Hall, and Randy (Lisa) Hall, six grandchildren, Betsy C. (Aaron) Clemons, Chase Hall, Kelsey Hall, Dawson William Hall, Tyeler Rayburn, and Anna Grace Hall, two great-grandchildren, William Oliver Clemons and Giada Elise Clemons, and numerous cousins, friends, and loved ones. Active pallbearers will be Bill Bradshaw, Chase Hall, Tyeler Rayburn, Aaron Clemons, Kenneth Hall, and Billy Gene Hall. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 12:30 – 2pm.
