George Aubrey Jeffcoat

JEFFCOAT, George Aubrey, 91, a resident of Luverne, died Sunday, April 18, 2010. Funeral services will be at 10 AM Wednesday, April 21, 2010 from Turner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Darien Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Preceding Mr. Jeffcoat in death is his wife Voncile Jeffcoat; his parents Glenn & Mattie Jeffcoat; sisters, Bernie Davis and Nell Godby; and brothers, Alton, Harry and Skinny Jeffcoat. He is survived by his four children, Betty Gillette, Bonnie Loyd, both of Luverne, Brenda (Larry) Register of Highland Home, and Ken (Carol) Jeffcoat of Pearl, MS; eight grandchildren, Brad (Kimberly) Gillette of Enid, OK, Brent (Lisa) Register of Magnolia, AR, Brian (Cheri) Register, Barron (Whitney) Register, both of Highland Home, Barrett Loyd of Luverne, Ashley Loyd of Dallas, TX, Josh and Heather Jeffcoat of Pearl, MS; thirteen great grandchildren; three sisters, Molly Messick, Margaret (Ed) Nichols, both of Luverne, and Erin Williams of Goshen; two sisters-in-law, Florence Jeffcoat and Mattie Lula Jeffcoat, both of Luverne. The grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Turner Funeral Home from 6-8 pm Tuesday evening.
