George Edward Jordan

JORDAN, Mr. George Edward, 67, a resident of Rutledge died Wedneday July 11, 2012 after a brief illness. Funeral services will be 2 pm Saturday July 14, 2012 at the Luverne First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Keith Price and Rev. Bernie Enzor officiating. Interment will follow in Siloam Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Jordan is preceded in death by his father, George Eleck Jordan and a brother, Jesse Ray Jordan. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Judy Stephens Jordan; five children, Lisa (Steve) Greenway, Tina Cluck, Nickie (Shay) Jordan, Patrick (Sherrie) Jordan and Dawn (Stanley) Holley; fifteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; mother, Mary Evelyn Jordan; two sisters, Carol Dillon and Betty (Jerry) Childs; two brothers, David (Debra) Jordan and Gary “Cotton” (Patsy) Jordan. Active pallbearers will be Richard Greenway, Clayton Greenway, Justin Greenway, Austin Jordan, Dalton Cluck, Bo Jordan, Tony Wolfe, Jackie Wolfe and Trace Jordan. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6 pm until 8 pm.
