Gerald Edward Fowler

FOWLER, Mr. Gerald Edward, age 83, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Monday, February 15, 2016 from the chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Duncan and Rev. Mike Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Live Oak Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Fowler was preceded in death by his son, Robert E. Ausbon, parents, Marvin and Velma White Fowler, two sisters, Betty (Jimmy) Ferguson and Grace (Rex) Catrett, and two brothers, Helton (Nell) Fowler and Joseph Fowler. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Irene Green Fowler, son, Keith (Selena) Fowler, daughter-in-law, Juanita Ausbon, four grandchildren, Shea Fowler, Keith Edward Fowler, Blair Ausbon, and Brooks Ausbon, brother, Horace (Wilma) Fowler, and a host of nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers will be Jody Morgan, Chris Fowler, Ken Fowler, Kenny Joe Fowler, Huey Green, and Gary Shirley. The family requests that any memorial donations be made to Live Oak Cemetery, c/o Mrs. Penny Perdue, 3532 Live Oak Road, Luverne, Alabama 36049. They will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 6-8pm.
