Gerald Lee Wilson

WILSON, Mr. Gerald Lee, 86, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016. A graveside service will be held for Mr. Wilson at 2 PM on Friday, September 23, in Cameron Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Wes Hatcher officiating and Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Wilson, son, Kenneth Wilson, stepdaughter, Deborah Sims, parents, Leon and Bedie Turner Wilson, sister, Sallie R. Bell Jeffcoat, and brother, John Marion Wilson. Mr. Wilson is survived by three children, Linda W. (Greg) Cole, Mark (Pam) Lewis, and Ricky (Karen) Lewis, twelve grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren. Active pallbearers will be Miles Cole, Joshua Cole, Mason Cole, David Carter, Richard Lewis, and Rusty King. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 12:30 – 1:30pm.
