Gloria Ann Rayborn

RAYBORN, Mrs. Gloria T., 68, a resident of Brantley died Saturday April 21, 2012 after an extended illness. Funeral services will be 2 pm Monday April 23, 2012 at the Brantley United Methodist Church with Rev. Michael Precht officiating. Interment will follow in Brantley Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Rayborn is preceded in death by her father, James Ray Tompkins. Survivors include her husband of 46 years, William M. “Billy” Rayborn; one son, William Morgan Rayborn, Jr.; her mother, Nell Reddoch Tompkins; three brothers, Jimmy (Phyllis) Tompkins, John Tompkins and Charles (Susan) Tompkins; four nieces, Paige Tompkins, Holland Sport, Beth Anne Tompkins and Susannah Sport; a nephew, Samuel Tompkins; and other devoted family, Mary Alice Lee. Active pallbearers will be Randy Hall, Steve Battle, David Lowery, Willie Smith, Kevin Killingsworth and Anthony Stallworth. The family will receive friends Monday at the Bethany Center of Brantley UMC from 12:30pm until just prior to service time.
