Grady Walker Stephens

STEPHENS, Mr. Grady Walker, 89, a resident of Luverne died Monday, November 17, 2014. Funeral services will be 11 am Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at the County Line Church of Christ with Ministers Jerry Barlow and Dennis Sanders officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Stephens is preceded in death by his parents, Jay Gould and Verna Walker Stephens and five brothers, Hubert Stephens, Joseph Stephens, Dembsey Stephens, Stafford Stephens, and Bobby Stephens. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Elzora Faulk Stephens; three sons, Kenneth (Ann) Stephens, Sr., Calvin (Michelle) Stephens, and Keith (Janna) Stephens; nine grandchildren, Kenneth Stephens, Jr., Alex (Savannah) Stephens, Rebecca Stephens, Rachelle Stephens, Chris Stephens, Brett Stephens, Camden Stephens, Summer Stephens, and Walker Stephens; two great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; and a sister, Jewell Varnum. Active pallbearers will be Danny Stephens, Donnie Stephens, Joey Carpenter, Joey Godwin, Ollie Godwin, Jr., and Bryan Penn. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 pm until 8 pm.
