Gury Mae Mccullough

McCULLOUGH, Mrs. Gury Mae Cauthen, 95, a resident of Highland Home, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016. Funeral services for Mrs. McCullough will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, November 26, from the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Brother Jack Zimmer officiating. Interment will follow in Cauthen Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. McCullough was preceded in death by her husbands, Glady McColy Cauthen and Cecil McCullough, grandson, Tracy Dale McCullough, parents, Oren “Iron” and Winnie Mae Pouncey Sexton, five brothers, and one sister. She is survived by four children, Ernest Herman “Pete” Cauthen, Stella Cauthen, Dale (Elizabeth) McCullough, and Ray (Paula) McCullough, ten grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren, sister, Jewel Cauthen, and Perry (Joyce Caroline) Sexton. Active pallbearers will be Eddie Reese, Steven Williams, Kevin Braswell, Derek McCullough, Chad McCullough, and Shannon McKenzie. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:30 – 2pm.
