Guy Lamar Perdue

PERDUE, Mr. Guy Lamar, 93, a resident of Luverne, AL died Friday, August 9, 2013. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 11, 2013 at 3 PM from Turner Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Thomas and Rev. William Leverette officiating. Interment will follow in Emmaus Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Perdue was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil & Annie Lou Perdue, his sister, Julia Perdue, and his brother, Jack Perdue. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Betty Perdue; five children, Patricia (Billy) Davis, Bob (Rita) Perdue, Jim Perdue, Tom (Penny) Perdue, and Jason (Michelle) Perdue; ten grandchildren, Julie D. Goetz, Mark Perdue, Wes Davis, Matthew Perdue, Mike Perdue, Ethan Perdue, Jonathan Perdue, Mary Cathryn Perdue, Emma Taylor, and Blakely Perdue; and his great grandson, Will Davis. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday afternoon from 1 pm until service time.
