Highland Home

Mr. James Hal Owens, 60, a resident of Highland Home, Alabama, passed away after hard-fought battle with cancer on Friday, February 7, 2020, in his home, surrounded by his family. Funeral services for Mr. Owens will be held at 11 AM on Monday, February 10th, at Union Baptist Church with Rev. Parker Bowen officiating. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Marianne Ryals Owens; their two daughters, Leigh Ann (Dennis) Brown and Leslie (Tory) Jordan; two grandchildren, Camryn and Chase Brown; his mother, Betty Owens; sister, Lisa Owens, and his lifelong friend, Ted Myrick.

Active pallbearers will be Dennis Brown, Tory Jordan, Curtis Ryals, Sonny Mokler, Timothy Brown, and Rayn Owens. Chase Brown will serve as an honorary pallbearer. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 10 - 11 AM.
