Harry Kendall Thomas

THOMAS, Mr. Harry Kendall, 86, a resident of Rutledge, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Friday, July 24, 2015 from the chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Burns and Rev. Clay Crum officiating. Interment will follow in Luverne Emmaus Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by his son, Steve Thomas; father, JC Thomas; mother, Berta Brown Thomas; and brother, Douglas Thomas. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Mildred Baggett Thomas; three children, Harriett (Ron) Howard, Tabitha (Rob) Hardman, and Ken Thomas; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mildred Thomas Moore and Annette Murray; and his brother, Jack (Julia) Thomas. Active pallbearers will be Matthew Hardman, Caleb Hardman, Randy Bagents, Charles Sport, Michael Williamson, and Aaron Rustom. The family requests that any memorial donations be made to the Luverne Baptist Church or one’s favorite charity. They will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 10am until service time.
