Hazel Jordan Worthington

WORTHINGTON, Mrs. Hazel Jordan, 92, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018. Funeral services for Mrs. Worthington will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, January 14, from the Chapel of Turners Funeral Home with Rev. Harry Driggers officiating. Interment will follow in Luverne Emmaus Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Worthington was preceded in death by her husband, Felix Parker Worthington, her parents, I.D. and Lucy Adams Jordan, sister, Margie (Austin) Odom, and two brothers, I.D. Jordan Jr. and Clifford Jordan. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann (Charles) Colquett, granddaughter, Jennifer (Dewayne) Duke, two great-grandchildren, Nicole (Bo) Jordan and Caleub (Ericka) Mount, three great-great grandchildren, Greysen and Piper Mount and Jesse Ray “Tripp” Jordan III, and her brother, Leon Jordan. Active pallbearers will be Lomax Colquett, Ray Jordan, Ricky Jordan, David Worthington, Steve Sanders, and Ken Shirley. The family requests that any memorial donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Luverne. They will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1 – 2pm.
