Helen Little Owens

OWENS, Mrs. Helen Little, 90, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2017. A graveside service for Mrs. Owens will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, November 25, in Sardis Cemetery with Pastor Jared Decker officiating and Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Owens was preceded in death by her two children, Barbara Owens and Charles Owens, parents, Charles and Delpie Beasley Little, and two sisters, Agnes Pynes and Evelyn Thomas. She is survived by her brother, Leo (Evelyn) Little and numerous loving nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers will be Johnny Pynes, Stephen Linton, Teddy Little, Charles Little, Joe Mushcara, and Stevie Linton. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to either the Sardis Cemetery Fund, c/o Donald White, 15403 Montgomery Highway, Highland Home, Alabama 36041 or one’s favorite charity. Family and friends will meet in the cemetery at the service time.
