Henry Thaden Brown

BROWN, Mr. Henry Thaden, age 79, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, January 24, 2016, surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at New Ebenezer Baptist Church with Rev. Bo Weed and Rev. Ken Baggett officiating. Interment will follow in New Ebenezer Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents, William General and Lydia Belle Brown, two brothers, Reginald Brown and Glen Brown, and four sisters, Luthenia Smith, Grace Mullins, Dorothy King, and Mavis Cauthen. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Dean Weldon Brown, three children, Timothy (Cathy) Brown, Anthony (Cindy) Brown, and Jamie (Candice) Brown, six grandchildren, Dennis (Leigh Ann) Brown, Erica Thomas, Sonya (Leslie) King, Tiffany (Dylan) Brooks, Justin Brown, and Julie Brown, sister, Faye Nell Posey, and brother, Kenneth (Patsy) Brown. Active pallbearers are Timothy Brown, Anthony Brown, Jamie Brown, Dennis Brown, Justin Brown, and Leslie King. Honorary pallbearers are Jim Taylor, Bob Daughtry, Jimmy Harris, Howard Cochran, Joe White, Michael Pruitt, Todd Vaughn, and Don Belcher. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 10am until service time.
