Henton Mehaffey

Mr. Henton Mehaffey, 66, a resident of Brantley, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2019 in his home.

Mr. Mehaffey was a tough man with high expectations, but he was always there for his family when they needed him. He loved being outdoors, whether it be fishing or simply cutting the grass. He constantly kept himself occupied, and loved repairing anything he could. His family will miss his gruff presence and love every day.

Mr. Mehaffey was preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Thelma Williams Mehaffey, and his brother, Ricky Mehaffey. He is survived by loving wife and companion of many years, Christine Smith Mehaffey; four children, Stephen Mehaffey, Nastachia D. Hurst, Tiffany (Joseph) Bragg, and Dezerae Hurst; four grandchildren, Raelynn, Aubree, Lily, and Chloe; and four siblings, Thomas Mehaffey, Raymond Mehaffey, Wilma McDowell, and Dale Mehaffey.

The family will hold a memorial service for Mr. Mehaffey at 12 PM on Saturday, July 13, in his home, 4841 Morgan Mill Road in Brantley, Alabama.
