Holice Mason Stacey

STACEY, Mr. Holice Mason, 78, a resident of Highland Home died Monday January 26, 2015. Funeral services will be 11 am Thursday, January 29, 2015 at the chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Zimmer officiating. Interment will follow in Berea Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Stacey is preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Ann Stacey; his parents, John and Eva Jeter Stacey; three sisters, Mazie McMillian, Mattie Turberville, and Lillian Stabler; and four brothers, Claude, Hannis, Corey, and Floyd Stacey. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Bernice Stacey; four children, Marie Morris, Eva (Bennie) Godwin, Shirley (Wayne) Allen, and Holice A. (Karen) Stacey; nine grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren; two sisters, Myrtle Emmons and Jean Norwood; and a brother, Charles Stacey. Active pallbearers will be Jeromy Word, Bobby Miley, Troy Allen, Philip Osborne, Alan Gradwell, and Robert Wendal Cooley. Wayne Allen and Wendal Cooley will serve as honorary pallbearers.
