Hope Blackwell Boothe

BOOTHE, Hope Blackwell, lost her battle with cancer on Monday, April 4, 2011 and went Home. Hope was born on April 30, 1949 in Montgomery, AL to Lomax & Mildred Blackwell. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 7, 2011 at 11 AM from Strata Church of Christ, 22879 US HWY 331, Lapine, AL with Ministers Jack Bozeman, Jerry Barlow, and Charles Sipper officiating. Interment will follow in Berea Cemetery with Turner Funeral of Luverne directing. Mrs. Boothe is preceded in death by her mother Mildred Pollard Blackwell, her father, Lomax Radford Blackwell and stepmother, Valeria Duncan Blackwell. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Brooks Boothe, Jr. and one son, Michael Boothe. Active pallbearers will be Jonathan Boothe, Chester Yaughn, Ed Shelton, Bert Duncan, Reggie Brown, and Mark Yarborough. Honorary pallbearers will be Joseph Eiland and Sandy Mears. The family will receive friends at the Church Thursday morning from 9:30 am until service time.
