Ida Belle Mothershed Sims

SIMS, Mrs. Ida Belle Mothershed, 93, a resident of Honoraville died Wednesday March 23, 2011. Funeral services will be 10 am Saturday March 26, 2011 at the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. William Leverette officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion (The Lodge ) Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Sims is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Ray Sims; parents, Marvin and Ida Mothershed; and two brothers, Cecil and Ishmel Mothershed. Survivors include her two daughters, Fannie Rae Jeter and Patricia ( Joe W.) Dorman; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren; three sisters, Ella Ruth Beasley, Mary Mulder and Ruby Sexton; and three brothers, John Henry (Viola) Mothershed, Glen (Virginia) Mothershed and Charles (Edwina) Mothershed. Active pallbearers will be Jay Dorman, Gary Horne, Donnie Mothershed, JB Dorman, Bob Mothershed and Robert Samborskine. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6 pm until 8 pm.
