WALLACE, Mrs. Ina Ruth Carnes, 79, a resident of Brantley, Alabama, passed away on Monday, October 22, 2018. A funeral service for Mrs. Wallace will be held at 2 PM on Friday, October 26, from the Chapel of Turners Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Dubose officiating and Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Wallace was a loving mother, sister, and aunt, and she will be dearly missed by all her loved ones. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wesley Wallace; parents, Sam Jones and Lauretta Jayroe Carnes; and four brothers, Henry Palmer Carnes, Gaston Carnes, Horace Travis Carnes, and William Lloyd Carnes. Mrs. Wallace is survived by her adopted daughter and son-in-law, Melanie and Mark Palcsey; sister, Edna LaRue Carnes Kelsoe; seven nieces, Larene Carnes, Jerry Lynn Carnes, Donna Rose Evans, Rebecca Susan Hughes, Martha Paulette Bodiford, Sherlynn Kelsoe, and Mary Diane Johnson along with their spouses; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1 - 2pm.
