Inez Virginia Compton

COMPTON, Mrs. Inez Virginia Beasley, 80, a resident of Brantley, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM on Sunday, October 18, 2015 from the chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Ministers Branson Williams and Jeff Grimes officiating. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Compton was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Lena Beasley; three brothers, Wavery, Woodrow, and Joel Beasley; two sisters, Doris Boggs and Bessie Hall; and son-in-law, Randell Ganous. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, George H. Compton; two children, Ricky (Virginia) Compton and Pamela Ganous; three grandchildren, Alan (Lauren) Compton, Amber (Jeff) Holley, and Terry (Felicia) Ganous; eight great-grandchildren, Victoria, Grace Ann, and Sam Compton, Tyler and Tripp Holley, Shelby (Ky) Baker, & Jacob and Lane Ganous; one great-great granddaughter, Annabelle Grace Baker; sister, Shirley (Bobby) Enfinger; three brothers, Charles (Brenda) Beasley, Mark (Nancy) Beasley, and Royce (Eleanor) Beasley; sister-in-law, Mary Ruth Beasley; and numerous nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers will be Jimmy Beasley, Larry Hall, Terry Ganous, David Dunn, Danny Hall, and Donny Bodiford. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:30pm until service time.
