Irby Reed Brook, Jr.

BROOK, Chief Master Sergeant Irby “Buck” Reed Brook, Jr., 74, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017. Funeral services for CMSgt Brook will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, April 19, at Siloam Baptist Church with Rev. Harry Driggers officiating. Interment will follow in Siloam Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. CMSgt Brook was a decorated veteran of the Vietnam Conflict who retired from the United States Air Force after 24 years of service. He was preceded in death by two children, Dawayne Brook and Heather Haskell, parents, Irby R. Brook, Sr. and Mary Ethel Graydon Williams, sister, Betty Baggett, and brother, William “Bill” Brook. He is survived by two children, Timothy (Michelle) Brook and Jessica Brook, son-in-law, Mark Haskell, ten grandchildren, Jessica L. (Jesse) Roeten, Jamie “Montana” Brook, Nikki Brook, Victor Haskell, Allison Haskell, Haley Haskell, Brandy Berry, Blu Berry, Brooklyn McGinnis, and Braylyn McGinnis, two great-grandchildren, Emily Ward and Jeremiah Tidwell, and two special friends, Janie Williamson and Vicki Brook. Active pallbearers will be Trey McGinnis, Joshua Pattillo, and John Pattillo. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 1 – 2 PM.
