Irene Caldwell Butler

BUTLER, Mrs. Irene Caldwell, 84, a resident of Rutledge died Sunday July 17, 2011. Graveside services will be 11 AM Wednesday July 20, 2011 at the Rutledge Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Hogwood officiating and Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Butler graduated from McArthur State Technical College in 1980 with a degree in Practical Nursing and was a member of the Rutledge First Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by a son, John Allen Butler; her parents, Fred and Rachel Caldwell; and a sister, Edna Caldwell Skinner. Survivors include her husband of 65 years, John Hosea Butler; two children, Diane Butler (Reb) Beck and Wesley Butler; daughter-in-law, Sheila Butler; three grandchildren, Barry (April) Butler, Brad (Amber) Butler, and Bethany (Dave) Jackson; and three great grandchildren, Alli, Brooke and Barrington Butler, Jr. The family requests that any memorial donations be made to one’s favorite charity. Family and friends will meet at the gravesite Wednesday at the service hour.
